One of the larger lakes at the complex, Loco presents anglers with an impressive expanse of open water requiring a good 50 to 60 yard cast to reach the productive central areas. Opened in 2006, this 5-acre water is not only large but significantly deep too, with around 6 feet of water just 6 metres out from the bank, increasing to 8 to 10 feet on the long pole line, and even deeper water in the middle sections. Home to the largest fish on the entire complex, Loco offers spectacular sport especially for day ticket anglers targeting specimen fish, with the biggest known carp last caught at an impressive 28lb and stunning ghost carp around the 24lb mark regularly showing. The only real feature in the lake is a small sunken island in the middle section, identified by wooden posts sticking out of the water, which provides an excellent target area for feeder and bomb fishing. The lake also holds a substantial pike population with fish to 28lb recorded, and the fishery allows predator fishing during winter months on request when matches aren't scheduled, providing thrilling sport for pike anglers.

Favoured Pegs
The pegs which can cast to the middle island are usually fliers, these being pegs 6, 17 and 43. In summer however follow the wind to find the fish!
