Broomhill Coarse and Carp Fishery is a small commercial fishery situated east of Hollybush near Ayr in East Ayrshire, Scotland. Open seven days a week from dawn to dusk, the venue caters for pleasure anglers and match anglers alike across two distinct waters — a canal-style lake and a dedicated carp pond. The fishery is under active management with a number of planned improvements in progress, including extended canal pegging, a new bankside cabin and an upgraded on-site tackle shop stocking bait and terminal tackle. The carp pond has 26 pegs and holds carp to 20lb alongside bream to 9lb. The canal-style water provides a more traditional commercial coarse fishing experience with a mixed head of F1s to 5lb+, tench, bream, roach, rudd and perch. Matches are regularly held on the venue — the layout, accessibility and parking close to the water make it well suited to organised events and knock-ups. All pegs must be pre-booked by calling or texting Mike directly. Booking is mandatory before fishing. Annual membership is available at £75 per person for a 12-month period, offering £5 mid-week pegs, pre-booking access, 10% off shop products, member-only matches and a monthly prize draw. Match day tickets are generally £20. The fishery operates a strict barbless, single-rod, attended-rod policy at all times. Fishery feed pellets only — no spodding or bait boats are permitted under any circumstances.
