Caistor Lakes is an independently owned, family-run 5-star adult-only lodge park set in the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds, just outside the historic market town of Caistor. Opened in 2016 and developed thoughtfully ever since, the complex offers a rare combination of luxury lakeside accommodation, quality fishing and a multi-award winning on-site restaurant — all in one beautifully maintained rural setting. The site features 16 lakeside lodges, 28 hard-standing touring pitches and 3 well-stocked fishing lakes, all designed to the highest standard with attention to detail at every turn. The fishing at Caistor Lakes spans three very different waters, each suited to a different style of angling. Foundry Pool is a 1.5-acre mixed coarse lake with 13 fully wheelchair-accessible pegs, heavily stocked with ide, bream, tench, perch, roach, barbel, crucian carp, chub and carp to 10lb. It is designed for anglers looking for a prolific, varied session and is well suited to match fishing, coaching and corporate events. Gravel bars, drop-offs, shelves and lily pad beds all feature, giving anglers plenty of watercraft to explore throughout the day. Heron Pool is a 2-acre mixed lake offering a more relaxed and leisurely fishing experience, stocked with ide, bream, tench, barbel, ghost carp, perch, crucian carp, chub, roach, gudgeon and carp into double figures. All pegs are wheelchair accessible with gravelled pathways and tackle drop-off zones, and three luxury lodges are positioned directly on the pool with fishing available straight from the decking. Oxygen levels are checked daily and nitrate and ammonia levels weekly to ensure excellent water quality year-round. Arthur's Pool is the most challenging water on the complex at 3 acres, designed for the more experienced angler. The lake holds a strong head of common and mirror carp alongside golden crucian, a small amount of bream and perch, and a controlled population of pike for fry management during spawning season. Natural weed growth is managed throughout the year, with some retained for oxygenation and natural nutrition. Four lodges on Arthur's Pool offer direct fishing from the decking — Cygnet, Shearwater, Stork and Wagtail. On-site facilities are genuinely 5-star throughout. The Ugly Duckling Bar and Restaurant is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals, with a full Sunday roast menu, afternoon teas, a children's menu and a dedicated pet-friendly dining area. The 16 luxury lodges range from home-away-from-home style accommodation to premium lakeside lodges with sunken hot tubs, modern interiors and stunning lake views. Ten lodges are pet-friendly, and the complex sits within easy reach of the Viking Way, miles of off-road country walks and the Lincolnshire coast.
