About
Grange Glebe Fishery is situated in the heart of the Boyne Valley, approximately 5km outside the town of Kells in County Meath, Ireland. The fishery currently comprises two lakes — Charlie's Pool and The Molosseum — which are joined together to allow fish to travel freely between both waters. A third lake, The Big M, is currently under development with an anticipated opening in Summer 2026. The venue is set in a peaceful, off-the-beaten-track location within mature woodland, providing a quiet and natural setting for anglers of all abilities. Both lakes are stocked with a mixed bag of species including carp, tench, perch, koi and eel. Charlie's Pool consists of 9 pegs — 7 single and 1 double — and is available for overnight sessions throughout the week, with day tickets available Monday to Friday until 6.30pm. A 2-rod limit applies on Charlie's Pool. The Molosseum features 9 single pegs and is open for day sessions only with a 1-rod limit per angler. All sessions must be booked in advance by contacting Mick directly. On-site facilities include a toilet and a tackle shop stocking a range of N.E. Baits products including boilies, pop-ups, wafters, liquids and particles in fresh, frozen and shelf-life options. The fishery is also an official Irish stockist for Sonik Sports tackle. Bait boats are permitted provided they do not interfere with other anglers. Catch and release is strictly enforced, with all fish to be returned within 3 minutes of capture. Landing mats must be used and wetted at all times, and all landing nets and unhooking mats must be dipped in the on-site Virkon Aquatic net dip prior to fishing.
