About
Haverholme Park Lake is a beautifully mature 3-acre estate lake set within the grounds of a historic 200-year-old estate near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Surrounded by ancient woodland, thick reed lines, and untouched wildlife habitats, the water has been carefully preserved to maintain its heritage character while developing into a high-quality modern carp fishery. The venue offers 24 thoughtfully placed swims across the lake, providing comfortable spacing and access to a wide variety of natural features. The lake holds an estimated 180–200 carp, predominantly high-quality strains supplied by VS Fisheries, including a blend of C4 and C5 stock. The mix consists of mirrors, linears, heavily scaled fish, and classic dark commons, with specimens reaching up to 30lb. These fish are known for exceptional scale patterns, strong growth rates, and impressive condition, making every capture a rewarding session. The abundant natural food sources and pristine water quality contribute to outstanding fish health and hard-fighting characteristics. The fishery rewards watercraft, stealth, and traditional angling skill, with natural features including gentle sweeping margins, large overhanging trees, old lily beds, and natural shelves offering a diverse range of fishing opportunities. Facilities on site include car parking and toilets, with 24-hour access available for night fishing sessions. Day tickets and lake exclusive bookings are both available — contact the fishery directly to enquire about pricing and availability.

Tactics & Tips
Haverholme Park Lake rewards traditional watercraft and stealth. The carp behave differently to stock-pond fish due to the abundant natural features and well-established ecosystem. Focus on margins, snags, overhanging trees, and natural shelves. Stalking the margins can be highly productive, as can settling into a swim for longer sessions targeting open water and natural food-holding areas.
