Hibaldstow Lakes is a five-lake coarse fishing complex set in the peaceful North Lincolnshire countryside, located on Grainthorpe Road, Hibaldstow. The fishery originated in the early 1950s as a limestone extraction site and was reclaimed by nature in the early 1980s, with initial stocking taking place at that time. Under careful management over the decades, it has developed into one of North Lincolnshire's premier multi-lake destinations, offering a diverse range of fishing across waters with distinct characters and target species. The complex comprises five lakes. Specimen Lake is the flagship water — a 15.5-acre mature pit carrying around 30 well-spaced pegs, stocked with carp well into double figures and fish exceeding 30lb, alongside tench, bream and pike. Fox Pool is a 2.5-acre private water with just 5 pegs, separated from the main lake and suited to exclusive bookings or small groups, stocked with catfish to 40lb and additional species. Heron Pool is a 2.5-acre mixed pleasure lake with 12 swims, holding carp averaging 10lb, tench to 7lb, and a good head of bream, roach, rudd and perch. Tench Pool is a dedicated 2.5-acre silver fish water with no carp present, offering a traditional coarse fishing experience with strong tench and quality roach, rudd, bream and perch. Jurassic Lake is a 3-acre water with an evolving stock, suited to anglers who enjoy exploratory sessions on a lesser-pressured venue. Anglers can park on or adjacent to their peg, making the venue well suited to those with mobility requirements. The fishery is open seven days a week from 6am to 6pm, with night fishing available on Specimen Lake. Booking is available online via the fishery website. On-site facilities include toilets and car parking. Dogs are welcome on site. The venue caters for pleasure anglers, match fishing, specimen hunting, and predator sessions, making it a strong choice for individuals, groups, and families across all experience levels.
