Hudsons Farm Fishery is one of the longest established coarse fisheries in the Fylde, providing superb fishing in a tranquil environment for over 100 years. Located just 10 miles from M6 Junction 32 and 10 miles from Blackpool, this well-established venue offers three distinct waters catering for all angling preferences. The Specimen Lake is a beautiful 1-acre carp water renowned throughout the area for producing large carp up to 28lb+ and impressive wels catfish over 20lb. With only 9 numbered pegs and depths ranging from 4-5 feet at the car park end to 8-9 feet at the far end, this water features lily beds, reed beds, overhanging trees, an island and underwater features including drop-offs. The fishery holds a CEFAS license for wels catfish, adding an exciting dimension to sessions. The Doughnut Lake offers excellent mixed fishing across 20 pegs on this characterful 1-acre water. With carp to 8lb, barbel to 5lb (introduced in 2006 and thriving), bream, tench, crucians, perch, roach and rudd, anglers can expect varied sport. The water features distinct near and far bank ledges at 2 feet deep, dropping to 6 feet down the track, with reed beds and flowering lilies creating a natural environment. The Willow Lake provides intimate fishing on a sheltered quarter-acre water with 10 pegs. This well-established venue offers excellent margin fishing for carp, barbel, tench and bream to 5lb, plus crucians, golden tench, perch, roach, rudd and ide. With shallow margins shelving to 8 feet in the centre, surrounded by reed mace and flowering lilies, it's perfect for pole fishing and match bookings.
