About
Linford Fisheries is a premier coarse and carp fishing complex covering over 350 acres near Milton Keynes, set on the former sand and gravel extraction site that helped build the town. Originally stocked by the Birmingham Angling Club and developed into a fishing destination by Linear Fisheries from 1985, the site has been owned and managed by the Marle family since 1991. Today the complex offers 13 lakes and 2.5 miles of river fishing on the Great Ouse, making it one of the most diverse and well-established venues in the South Midlands. The fishery caters for all styles of angling, from general coarse fishing on Blackhorse and the canals to serious specimen carp fishing on Linford 1, Park Farm 1 and 2, and the dedicated day ticket carp lakes of Arboretum, Pines and Poplar. Linford 1 is home to an impressive stock of carp to 49lb with many fish in the 30lb–40lb range. Park Farm 1 holds commons to 33lb-plus, while the day ticket waters offer quality carp fishing with both 12hr and 24hr sessions available. Matches are held regularly on Blackhorse Lake on Sundays throughout the season. On-site facilities include a well-appointed clubhouse overlooking Blackhorse Lake, serving a full café menu of coffees, teas, breakfast and lunch Monday to Saturday 10am–4pm, along with a bar and private function room available for hire. The site features 20 dedicated disabled access pegs across the complex. Membership runs from April 1st through to March 31st with annual, general coarse and winter options available, alongside day ticket access on a wide selection of waters.
