Acorn Lake is a 20-peg match and pleasure lake set in a peaceful, tranquil setting. Stocked with carp, crucians, roach, rudd, tench, skimmers, perch and chub, it produces more 100lb weights than the other lakes on the complex, with a current match record of 316lb. Inside pole lines and fishing at 8–10 metres are good options for most species, with pellet, paste, caster and meat the favoured baits. Bombing out into open water or across to the island will also catch plenty of fish.
