About
Kingfisher Lake is a 6.5-acre specimen carp lake stocked with 220 Simmo fish in 2000. Approximately 70 are now between 20 and 30lb, with four different fish having been caught over the 30lb mark. The lake record stands at 33lb 4oz. Two larger and six smaller islands provide good holding areas for each of the 16 pegs. The average depth is five feet with shelves around all the islands and bars, with gullies and holes also present. Most fish fall to good quality boilies or pellets fished anywhere from tight to the islands back to open water. Rigs are checked regularly to ensure they are barbless and safe. The gates are locked at night and CCTV is in operation. Pegs are bookable via lakebookings.com.
