Arthur's Pool is the most challenging and rewarding water at Caistor Lakes, a 3-acre lake designed for the more experienced angler who enjoys the craft and patience that serious carp fishing demands. The lake holds a large selection of common and mirror carp, golden crucian, and a small amount of bream and perch, alongside a controlled population of pike that are present specifically for fry control during spawning — pike fishing is not permitted. The lake presents a moderate to hard challenge, and rewards anglers with genuine watercraft and a considered approach. Natural weed growth is actively managed throughout the year, with some weed retained for oxygenation and natural nutrition for the fish. This weedy environment adds to the challenge of the water and means bait presentation, rig choice and location are all critical to success. Arthur's Pool has a natural, mature feel that sets it apart from the other two waters on the complex, and the combination of challenging fishing, quality stock and beautiful surroundings makes it the standout water for specimen carp anglers visiting Caistor Lakes. Four lodges are allocated on Arthur's Pool offering direct fishing access from the decking — Cygnet, Shearwater, Stork and Wagtail. Pelican and Puffin lodges are also on Arthur's Pool but do not have direct fishing access. There is no fishing access to Arthur's Pool for guests staying in Heron or Foundry Pool lodges.

Arthur's Pool rewards patience and watercraft. Fish the weed edges rather than clear areas — carp hold tight to natural cover. Lodge anglers on Cygnet, Shearwater, Stork and Wagtail have prime decking access directly over the water.
