Foundry Pool is a 1.5-acre mixed coarse lake designed for anglers looking for a prolific, varied session in a well-maintained and fully accessible setting. With 13 permanent pegs, all of which are wheelchair accessible and surrounded by gravelled paths, the pool is one of the most inclusive and angler-friendly waters in Lincolnshire. Tackle drop-off zones and easy access to the 5-star gold shower and toilet facilities add to the convenience, making it suitable for anglers of all abilities and ages. The pool is heavily stocked with a superb mix of coarse species including ide, bream, tench, perch, roach, barbel, crucian carp, chub and carp to 10lb. Watercraft features including gravel bars, drop-offs, shelves and lily pad beds are all present, giving anglers a genuine variety of targets and presentations to explore throughout the day. The pool has been specifically designed with match fishing, corporate events and coaching days in mind, and can be arranged for exclusive use — contact the fishery for more information. Four lodges are allocated on Foundry Pool, with two offering direct fishing access from the decking and two with their own private fishing pegs. Day fishing is available to all anglers on a first come, first served basis with no peg reservations, and Caistor Lakes house pellets must be used. Open daily from 8am — October to March closing at 4pm, April to September closing at 5pm.
